Rosie the Pig

Rosa Ventana Panchetta de la Mandala, aka Rosie, was created as part of Hanover, New Hampshire’s 250th Anniversary celebration. She lived in my house (our living/dining room to be exact) from February to May 2011. She is made of fiberglass and was painted with Liquitex Soft Body Acrylics. The organizers of the event coated the sculptures with a clear car coat so they could withstand the elements while on display all summer. Rosie was auctioned off in September 2011 and was purchased by the River Valley Club. It’s great to have Rosie where I work everyday. I never had to say goodbye!
